They have built it in the two-piece, hybrid (alloy barrel and composite handle) design that power hitters have come to trust for many years. Specifically, the barrel is built with X14 Alloy that features the most consistent barrel walls possible. This material has been designed especially with power hitters in mind.

And don’t gloss over the connection point of the bat. DeMarini is once again using their Direct Connection point which should allow for a nice and solid feel at contact with a baseball (almost like a one-piece bat). Power hitters really enjoy this connector piece because it allows them to feel like all of the power that they put into the swing also gets put into the baseball.
